Intel® Extreme Masters is a computer gaming tournament now hitting its fourth season. With six events around the globe and with a total prize pool of $530,000, Intel Extreme Masters is classed as the biggest gaming tournament world wide.

In the past three seasons we all saw the best players in Counter-Strike 1.6, Warcraft 3 as well as World of Warcraft competing for a huge amount of prize money. Players meet on- and offline to prove their skills and give their fans a show they will remember for a long time. The third season held stops like Los Angeles, Montreal, Dubai and Chengdu to round it off with the finals at CeBIT 2009.

Season 4 of Intel® Extreme Masters promises to be bigger and better than ever. Holding tournaments in Counter-Strike 1.6, World of WarCraft and Quake Live, the best of the best are battling it out for the prize pool of $530,000.
